At first glance it looks like you are viewing a distant mountain peak but arrow over the image to discover it is one of Northeast Canada's frequent spring time ice bergs.
These beautiful chunks stand out of the ocean water hiding the greater portion below the waves. Back in 1912 the world's largest ocean going passenger vessel met it's fate when it struck one of these bergs and went to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean along with the majority of the passengers and crew.
The Titanic was termed with a prideful name as "unsinkable". Constructed in the UK and bound for the US, where there is an abundance of pride, power, prestige or money; these abundances would provide no power to bring back the lives taken by the overly confident heading and velocity this ship took through those Canadian waters long ago.
The ice bergs are beautiful and reminds me that Canada is blessed with an abundance of these beautiful floating mountains of ice which act as reminders to all ocean going vessels that pride is not a safe personal character to have on board admits these graceful floating mountains.

Our Friend Ready For Adventure Learning
They are our future. Help them build a beautiful world and just maybe when they are your age they may help save your life.
Immanuel Kant's
Categorical Imperative bolstered by
parsimony has made the list of people necessary to protect the precious innocence of children VERY short .

Today's Note: Conscience is like a precious flower that can be cultivated and made more beautiful day by day. Conscience like a tender plant can also be broken or burned which leaves behind a barren land unable to feel the warm sunshine or gentle breezes that give life.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because
he trusteth in Thee.--ISA. xxvi. 3.
|
What comforts, Lord, to those are given,
Who seek in Thee their home and rest!
They find on earth an opening heaven,
And in Thy peace are amply blest.
W. C. DESSLER. |
God is a tranquil Being, and abides in a tranquil eternity. So must thy
spirit become a tranquil and clear little pool, wherein the serene light
of God can be mirrored. Therefore shun all that is disquieting and
distracting, both within and without. Nothing in the whole world is worth
the loss of thy peace; even the faults which thou hast committed should
only humble, but not disquiet thee. God is full of joy, peace, and
happiness. Endeavor then to obtain a continually joyful and peaceful
spirit. Avoid all anxious care, vexation, murmuring, and melancholy, which
darken thy soul, and render thee unfit for the friendship of God. If thou
dost perceive such feelings arising, turn gently away from them.
