Risen To Life Again!

After suffering the unspeakable darkness and trials of an arctic winter, people at this latitude many times give up hope. Yet there is a Mercy and Love so powerful as to shatter the hold of the great shadow cast by a tilted planet. This Light won over the power of darkness and from the depths of hell itself this Love triumphed over death and rose to life in shining glory remembered and experienced on this day.

Yes, this is a truth as I experienced the Son rise to life over the barren frozen dark wilderness of my life. I haven't written on my main page for a while as the battle over the forces of darkness threw all its fury across my life like a howling arctic winter. It was with a small group of other men this morning that I felt the first rays of the warmth of the Risen Son touch my life. It was absolutely amazing as the warmth of His new life took away all my pain and a deep rest came upon me.

I walked home under the Light of the Risen Sun feeling it warm my every step as I made my way back to the wide river with blood red patches melting through the surface; its waters colored by foliage in distant tundra. I lay by the side of this blood red river and felt into a deep sleep where I saw the world as it was.

Thank God for this Resurrection Sunday for the Son of God Jesus Christ rose from the tomb with a glory that I find reflected in the growing ring of light that circles this land bring with it a world that knows no darkness or night. I am thankful to have the Sun of Life in my life so I can help others make it to the place where they Cross over into this land which will cover every bit of dirt under a blanket of the purest white snow. The battle is over and Christ Jesus has won!

Meaning Was Conveyed Gracefully

Wherefore, beloved... be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless,--2 PETER iii. 14.

His conscience knows no secret stings,
While grace and joy combine
To form a life whose holy springs
Are hidden and divine.

I. WATTS

Even the smallest discontent of conscience may render turbid the whole temper of the mind; but only produce the effort that restores its peace, and over the whole atmosphere a breath of unexpected purity is spread; doubt and irritability pass as clouds away; the withered sympathies of earth and home open their leaves and live; and through the clearest blue the deep is seen of the heaven where God resides.

J. MARTINEAU.

The state of mind which is described as meekness, or quietness of spirit, is characterized in a high degree by inward armony. There is not, as formerly, that inward jarring of thought contending with thought, and conscience asserting rights which it could not maintain.

T. C. UPHAM.

A Word From

Robert Service

Here by the camp-fire's flicker,
Deep in my blanket curled,
I long for the peace of the pine-gloom,
When the scroll of the Lord is unfurled,
And the wind and the wave are silent,
And world is singing to world.
