"Then He will say to those at His left hand, Be gone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!" Matthew 25:41

Today is Sunday and all church goers head off to their once a week observance where they coldly mouth the words of Jesus Christ the Son of Man. Yes life must be getting down to the fine edge when you discover that "Man does not live by bread alone" but by sharing the Good News about eternal life through Jesus Christ. The most frightening thing in the world for me is to meet people who call themselves Christians who pray like God is their "good buddy" rather than an almighty Father who loves beyond comprehension and certainly deserves to be spoken to respectfully. Yes people who call themselves Christians and yet live like everyone else in the world are very frightening. At least people in the world caught up in drugs, alcohol and illicit relationships can discover how empty and dead their lives are and turn to Jesus for help like I did long ago. But people who call themselves "Christians" will be judged on the final day but they will have no excuse because they will have to admit they knew "about" Jesus" but never lived the New Life He said they must live to make it to heaven. .

Yea, long ago I was a producer of recreational drugs until organized crime made me an offer they thought I couldn't refuse. With friends gone after they found the mafia was coming, I got on my knees and said the following, "Jesus I don't know if You are real or a fairy tail but If You are real please help me." In those simple words my life changed from one of a drug maker to a teacher of children from that day in 1976 on.

I began a journey to tell people the amazing story of how I got saved and I soon discovered there were two kinds of people in the world, people like the beer drinking truck driver who gave me his bunk in his truck to help me off the road and the other group were the religious people who went to church every Sunday with a Bible in every room of their house and in their car; some were even involved with mission work which deep in their heart they hated but when it came to sharing one on one time with me, it was the truck driver who not only gave me a place to sleep and food but he spent time with me everyday until our roads parted,

The only thing that I see standing between people finding out that Jesus is real and is there to help them to eternity is church goers in today's society. Sometimes I think the best and safest time to go out into the world is any Sunday morning between 11:00AM and 12:00PM. I believe that I can find people bound for heaven in the work a day life of earth but for me to find a heaven bound Christian in a church would be a miracle. Most church goers are very religious but that is worse than not knowing Christ at all; they know all the words, the Bible and all the religious lingo but the one thing they don't know is God in His Son Jesus.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not religious but I do love the Lord; and I do believe in miracles and that is there can be and there are "real" Christians in churches everywhere in the world. Isn't that amazing!!
