Terrorism is a horrible reality and now with the advent of nuclear terrorism people may think they have something to worry about. Unfortunately there is something more powerful than nuclear weapons and the nations of this world possess no technology to stop it. What has already begun can’t be stopped with guns, tanks and bombs; it’s so insidious that it will leave those who remain wishing they had been a victim of a nuclear attack.

There is protection from this terror and what I have to convey can stop this plague. No airport security can detect it, no medical examination and certainly no man made technology can stop it.

I have just returned from Korea after living there for eleven years. What I learned from these people is simply the most amazing thing in the universe. Right now people only seem to see matters related to nuclear tests. What are the Koreans trying to say by testing two nuclear weapons in the last few years? They are trying to get the attention of the world to warn them about what I wrote above. They realize that what is happening is serious and they know how to stop the problem. I know what they have to say, I have recently conveyed a message to someone I know and something wonderful happened.

Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.--ECCLES. vii. 9.

Let not the sun go down upon your wrath--EPH. iv. 26

.

Quench thou the fires of hate and strife,
The wasting fever of the heart;
From perils guard our feeble life,
And to our souls Thy peace impart.

J. H. NEWMAN, _Tr. from Latin_.

When thou art offended or annoyed by others, suffer not thy thoughts to dwell thereon, or on anything relating to them. For example, "that they ought not so to have treated thee; who they are, or whom they think themselves to be;" or the like; for all this is fuel and kindling of wrath, anger, and hatred.

L. SCUPOLI.

Struggle diligently against your impatience, and strive to be amiable and gentle, in season and out of season, towards every one, however much they may vex and annoy you, and be sure God will bless your efforts.
