Finding The Future

November 3, 2009

This will be short for now. I was out on the old snowy back trails skiing as I one had before in the days long ago before I found the joy of teaching children in a land over the ocean where children are loved and safe. The temperature at the bottom of the trail were -2F and a balmy +10 on the hill tops. I chunked my way up the dark hills with the full moon rising to light the trail along with my high intensity head light. It didn't feel cold at all but rather it felt like a spring evening as I worked up a sweat here in the arctic night.

So much has happened and continues to happen now that I find myself in something I must describe with carefully crafted words; writing at this time in much like walking a tight rope over a bottomless cavern, one look down and I would lose my balance and fall into something I fear to describe. Suffice it to say that I have done my time in the western grave and by the power of Love Immortal rise again to tell a story that is aimed at freeing people caught in a trap of gruesome proportions.

By this time my web page that I thought was an obscure secret is something I'm making a great effort to keep secret as I now ply the waters of a world that will stop at nothing to make me lose my balance on this rope in life I tread. However, right this moment I need to strip off some old glide wax meant for snow on volcanoes in Korea and apply the more sturdy stuff made for cold nights in the far north where the only night sound in that which you hear when you walk on snow up here; something just like squeezing a box of corn starch.

More after I apply the -35F wax.

Meaning Was Conveyed Gracefully

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.--EPH. iv. 25

In conversation be sincere;
Keep conscience as the noontide clear;
Think how All-seeing God thy ways
And all thy secret thoughts surveys.

THOMAS KEN.

The essence of lying is in deception, not in words; a lie may be told by silence, by equivocation, by the accent on a syllable, by a glance of the eye attaching a peculiar significance to a sentence; and all these kinds of lies are worse and baser by many degrees than a lie plainly worded; so that no form of blinded conscience is so far sunk as that which comforts itself for having deceived because the deception was by gesture or silence, instead of utterance.

J. RUSKIN.

He that is habituated to deceptions and artificialities in trifles, will try in vain to be true in matters of importance; for truth is a thing of
habit rather than of will. You cannot in any given case by any sudden and single effort will to be true, if the habit of your life has been
insincerity.

F. W. ROBERTSON.
