"Perfect Actions"
His Voice Everywhere
You Fell!
Was the answer I received when I asked the Lord, "What happened to me?" It was written in a strange but clear way on an apartment building fourteen stories up.

This is My Father's
World is the name of a hymn that tells how God speaks
through everything in his beautiful natural creation.
The key words to this song speak of God’s voice
being heard in the following ways, “The music
of the spheres, of rocks and trees, of skies and seas,
the birds their carols raise, the morning light, the
lily white he shines in all that's fair in the rustling
grass I hear him pass” I have heard it said,
if one desires to know beauty one must live with it.”
So here in this dismal Korean city there is nothing
that reflects "My Father's World", however
God is not limited by these factors and as the above
image shows, He speaks to me from even the strange
name written on a Korean high rise apartment complex
which very clearly answers my question as to how and
why I’m living in the most humbling of accommodations
I have ever experienced.
It was the very first day I was in this
jungle of steal, concrete and glass that I raised
my voice to God to ask why and as I glanced towards
the heaven barely seen between towering high rise
buildings I saw the usual misuse and lack of understanding
of English that Koreans so blatantly post everywhere,
however this strange English quickly became God’s
immediate answer to my prayer request. Other teachers
that I was with looked up, knowing my story of how
I made and effort to keep a promise that was not what
God wanted. They looked up and saw the huge “Ufell”
sign posted in letters that were 40 feet long on the
top of a neighboring high rise apartment building
and immediately understood what God was telling me;
they all burst out in laughter as they realized how
blatant and unmistakable the sign spoke to me and
everyone regarding what had happened to me. So yes,
even here in this world that isn’t like the
words described in the song, God told me, “You
Fell” from My protection, grace and will.
However, as I enter the third week of
my time in this reformatory for his wayward son, I
am finding that the experiences isn’t making
me dull to His mind and voice but rather my sensitivity
to discerning the very fine shades of difference in
the spirit is becoming sharper.
My time of morning quiet study where
I listen for my Fathers voice I have discovered that
the pain and struggles I am experiencing are caused
by something different than I originally thought.
This morning I read, "The Word of God inflicts
hurt on us more than sin ever could, because sin dulls
our senses." The pain I'm experiencing is not
dulling my senses but rather making my sense of discernment
clearer and uniquely sharper; an essential factor
that must be finished if I'm to succeed and finish
the work I have been
This process of sharpening is absolutely
essential for my deliverance and restoration; I’m
simply learning that how ever it happens is requiring
moment to moment steps of faith.
I’m really not sure how long I
will be able to add to this web page as the time of
departure draws near and I must get everything ready;
this naturally includes the storage of the computer
I’m using to write these words. Today MUST be
a day of final preparation as the few days left must
be used to test out my travel package to be sure I
can stay clean and rested as the travel path takes
me through this huge, dark Asian city (some way that
will be a miracle) to the airport where a flight is
scheduled to take me to Hawaii and then on to my home
in the arctic.
It may be easier to add to this page until I get home.

Meaning
Was Conveyed Gracefully |
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or
what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye
shall put on.--MATT. vi. 25.
|
One there lives whose guardian eye
Guides our earthly destiny;
One there lives, who, Lord of all,
Keeps His children lest they fall;
Pass we, then, in love and praise,
Trusting Him through all our days,
Free from doubt and faithless sorrow,--
God provideth for the morrow.
R. HEBER.

It has been well said that no man ever sank under the
burden of the day. It is when to-morrow's burden is
added to the burden of to-day that the weight is more
than a man can bear. Never load yourselves so, my friends.
If you find yourselves so loaded, at least remember
this: it is your own doing, not God's. He begs you to
leave the future to Him, and mind the present.
G. MACDONALD.
Cast thy burdens upon the Lord,--hand it over, heave
it upon Him,--and He shall sustain thee; shall bear
both, if thou trust Him with both, both thee and thy
burden:. He shall never suffer
the righteous to be moved.
ROBERT LEIGHTON.

Peter’s response to this piercing question is
considerably different from the bold defiance he exhibited
only a few days before when he declared, "Even
if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!"
( Matthew 26:35 ; also see Matthew 26:33-34 ). Our natural
individuality, or our natural self, boldly speaks out
and declares its feelings. But the true love within
our inner spiritual self can be discovered only by experiencing
the hurt of this question of Jesus Christ. Peter loved
Jesus in the way any natural man loves a good person.
Yet that is nothing but emotional love. It may reach
deeply into our natural self, but it never penetrates
to the spirit of a person. True love never simply declares
itself. Jesus said, "Whoever confesses Me before
men [that is, confesses his love by everything he does,
not merely by his words], him the Son of Man also will
confess before the angels of God" ( Luke 12:8 ).
Unless we are experiencing the hurt of facing every
deception about ourselves, we have hindered the work
of the Word of God in our lives. The Word of God inflicts
hurt on us more than sin ever could, because sin dulls
our senses. But this question of the Lord intensifies
our sensitivities to the point that this hurt produced
by Jesus is the most exquisite pain conceivable. It
hurts not only on the natural level, but also on the
deeper spiritual level. "For the Word of God is
living and powerful . . . , piercing even to the division
of soul and spirit . . ."— to the point that
no deception can remain ( Hebrews 4:12). When the Lord
asks us this question, it is impossible to think and
respond properly, because when the Lord speaks directly
to us, the pain is too intense. It causes such a tremendous
hurt that any part of our life which may be out of line
with His will can feel the pain. There is never any
mistaking the pain of the Lord’s Word by His children,
but the moment that pain is felt is the very moment
at which God reveals His truth
