Sun Tear

There was a land filled with many people who loved their children and country. They shared a common home, heart and mind. One day another country took the sun out of the sky and dropped it in the middle of the lives of these people and it burned up all their children and life.

The pain experienced by these people was too great to bear. How could they ever recover since they were a people who shared a unity of heart and mind. They all agreed to press on with their life and the very next day they built a tall stone pedestal where the sun had been dropped into their life and turned their children, mothers and even the stones into ashes. However, as they worked together the pain of such a terrible event brought water to their eyes. Since they were a people of one country, one heart, and one mind they decided to let the water in their eyes collect in one tear.

Tears come for different reasons; there are tears of sorrow and there are tears of joy but these tears collected by all the people formed a tear of a very different kind. It took many years for these people to collect all their tears into one place. When all the tears were collected it proved to be the heaviest tear in the entire universe. Though this tear was so heavy they worked very hard and long to collect every last drop from each and every eye and give it to one man among them.

This man had to be special. This man had to be strong and this man needed to stand before the great veil that hangs between the world of the people of one heart and mind and the people of many hearts and minds. He had to be ready to find the one person who was part of the many minds that brought the sun to their land and yet was also connected to the one heart and mind of the people of the land of one heart.

This man waited 60 years for the right moment for he was but a youth when he saw the sun come down onto the land of his people. Everyone agreed as he agreed with them that he would bear the one tear even though it would crush him to death. His people were famous for giving their lives in order to stop the enemy from taking their land and people.

It took many years for him to gather all the tears of his people on to his back. He had been born for this amazing task and at 84 years old he stood tall and strong never showing any sign that he bore the burden of the greatest tear in the entire universe.

Now it was time for him to give the tear to the people who brought the sun down on to his children and people. He went to the very place where the ground still remained curved and pressed down by the weight of the sun that touch the earth to the pedestal that was built so many year ago. He knew that this pedestal was built to hold the one tear he carried. He also knew that the day would soon come when one of the people who brought the sun to his land would come to this pedestal and when this person came the tear would fall on him and the people of his country and when that happened they both would pass between the veil that separated their two worlds.

As he knew, the day came and the one from among the land of the many minds came and the tear fell of him and sank deep into his mind. The tear was full of fire and heat that words can not describe. In the tear were the cries of children and mothers screaming in anguish. There were cries of farmers as metal devices came out of the sky onto their land.

The one who received the giant tear drop ran out of their land to another land near by where people also had one mind and heart but they were compromised by an individuality that they had no power to save themselves from. The people of this neighboring land strove greatly to become as powerful as the country that had brought the sun to earth 60 years before. In their selfish greed, their efforts to imitate the people of the many mind weakened the great and beautiful integrity they once shared with the people who suffered the sunset in their land.

The people of the land of one heart and mind were a great people for they had a very ancient honorable history, culture and language. However, the smaller land in the middle mixed their blood with impurity. Their mind spilt along with their land and they strove with great energy to speak, act and look like the people of the land who brought the sun to earth. The greater their efforts to imitate the people of the sun power the more the infection entered their blood and eroded their honorable culture that took thousands of years to build.

With great skill they made every effort to copy every aspect of the people of the individual mind with power to control the sun. The people who were burned by the sun knew this was a greater error than bringing the sun to earth. Even among the people of this small neighboring country that was now suffering so greatly, there were people of pure blood. These pure blooded people ran away from the infected people among them and huddled near the largest land with other people of one mind. It was just five years after the sun touched the earth that a great barrier was built between the pure and infected. This barrier remains to this day in an effort to maintain the purity of the people who are uncompromised.

The people with one mind and heart of the greatest land wondered why the people who looked liked them try so hard to follow the ways of the people who brought the sun down to control the world. They wondered why they have more babies than their land can hold. The now infected once great people need a cure for their festering cancer that is bringing their men into the streets to hurt children and their women of all ages into buildings of all kinds to market the very house they lived in.

The one man who had received the giant tear ran around to others of his kind but all of his kind ran from the heat and the cries inside the great tear. The man with the tear found that he could no longer bear the pain and grief of the great tear he had absorbed from the old man at the pedestal in the neighboring beautiful land of hot springs and volcanoes where the sun came to earth.

Under the weight of the great tear the strongest bone in his body finally broke and he fell to the earth in great unbearable pain. Unable to live he found to his horror that he was not able to die like the old man who had given him the tear. He tried to run back to his country but everyone in his country wanted him go away and not remind them of what they did to the people of the ancient land. After one week he ran back to the small country with a divided people to live among those infected with the disease from his country.

The infected people could not bear the weight of seeing their infection causing him to remain in a living death. One women among these people thought that she could make a lot of money if she could repair the broken bone caused by the weight of the giant tear and harness his strength for her own plans. She found a hospital in the darkest city in the most infected part of her country.

In this hospital the man with the giant tear was laid of a metal table and a huge snake was brought out to bite him in the back. After the man was bitten by the snake, the pain of the tear vanished for a while and then a very sharp knife was shoved into his back penetrating all the way to the broken bone. The people used two metal sticks and four big nails to nail his bone back together. After the bone was nailed together a man used another knife and for two hours scarped all the bone out that his body had made to protect the broken bone from causing pain. They finally drilled two large holes in the big bone and put two metal bolts which cut off this mans ability to sing or speak.

In the end the men used metal wires to reconnect his flesh and sucked as much blood out of his body as they could without killing him. Shortly after this the effects of the snake bit went away and the man with the giant tear felt its weight in a way that his mind could no longer remain in this world and he slipped behind the veil.

The hours turned to days and the days into weeks and one day came when the man came to pull the wire out of his back. Something had changed. The man didn't feel the pain of the giant tear in the same way but now the weight of the tear was balanced on the top of his bone as the metal screws and rods kept the bone from breaking. The man could not speak nor could he walk any more. Everyday he rode on two wheels going down to the ocean to lay on a smooth stone and listen to the sound of the waves; then something amazing happened.

As he lay there by the ocean in peace the weight of the tear was less as it was transferred to the Rock that he was lying on. For a brief painless moment he looked up to the sun and could see it shining in the sky very brightly. He looked at it and saw a shining circular opening in the sky. As he looked into the pure shining opening in the sky,  tears began to form in his eyes and the giant tear slipped off the Rock and fell right through the radiant hole in the sky. In that one moment he discovered where the tear came from and just as it came to earth from the sun it slipped back into the sun where it had come from.

The man stood up and not only was his pain gone but his voice returned and he found that he could not only walk but now he could fly. So fly he did right back to his country to tell his people about the Rock and the Power of the Sun. But his people where so violently ill from their isolation from the world that his own family didn't recognize him.

He opened his wings again and flew back to the people of the land divided by his country's poison. He knew that he couldn't help his people until he had helped the people who tried to follow the ways of his country.

So now he lies resting after his long flight back in a city full of very sick people of the once great country divided from their pure people. His resting place is amazingly built by the people upon whom his country brought the sun but it is situated right in the center of the place where the people are as sick as his homeland people.

Perhaps a day will come when these people of a once honorable culture are healed and this man will fly back to his home to help the sick and dying people who brought the sun to earth just 60 years ago. Until that time he sits and weaves a magic web that reaches from the room built by the people from the land where the sun burned the rocks,  to all the people in the world who touch this web made from the very power that brought the sun to earth.
