This short poem was written after stepping outside to take a breather from transcription efforts with my poems and short stories. It's a simple poem but I wanted to try and convey a secret my Father had been sharing with me for a few years now. The poem is entitled: Blue Patches

Blue Patches

Pure blue patches in storm filled sky

Beams sunlight to His children's eyes.

A sign of love and favor to them

Who live and work and suffer for Him.

And when our work is then complete

To Him we'll rise in grace to meet.

To Him whose love can never end

Through pure blue patches we shall ascend.
