About “Blue Patches”

This short poem was written after I stepped outside to take a break from transcribing my poems and short stories.

It is a simple poem, but I wanted to express something my Father had been quietly teaching me for several years: that even in a storm-filled sky, a small opening of clear blue and sunlight can become a reminder of His love, presence, and faithfulness.

The poem is entitled Blue Patches.

Blue Patches

Pure blue patches in storm filled sky Beams sunlight to His children's eyes. A sign of love and favor to them Who live and work and suffer for Him.

And when our work is then complete To Him we'll rise in grace to meet. To Him whose love can never end Through pure blue patches we shall ascend.
